Podcast advertising

Sponsor a podcast episode, or sell ad reads on your own show. Every price is on the listing before you book, and money is only released once the episode is out.

Podcast ad formats and what they are for

Host-read ad

The host reads your message in their own words. It sounds like a recommendation, so it suits products the host can speak about honestly.

Pre-roll

A short message before the episode starts. Good for simple, memorable offers.

Mid-roll

A message in the middle of the episode, when listeners are already engaged. Usually priced higher than pre-roll.

Episode or series sponsorship

Your brand is named as sponsor of a whole episode or a run of episodes. Details are agreed on the listing.

How shows get checked

  • The seller must prove they control the show's website or domain before a listing can go live.
  • Listener numbers the show gives us are marked as declared until there is evidence. We never hide that difference.
  • Every listing is screened against our advertising rules before it goes live, and a refusal always says why.
  • Trust scores come from completed bookings, delivery and complaints. They cannot be bought.

The full method is written down in our trust & safety policy.

How a booking works

  1. Pick a show and a format. Price, listener numbers and lead time are on the listing.
  2. Send your script or talking points. They are checked against our advertising rules before the show sees them.
  3. Pay through the marketplace. The money is held until the episode is confirmed as published.
  4. The show is paid the agreed amount minus the commission you saw before you confirmed.
  5. Delivery, invoices and refunds stay on record in your dashboard.
