How Cookie window works on Advoratise
Each offer states its own window, and we apply it to the click record we hold rather than to something stored in the visitor's browser — which is why a sale still counts when the browser has cleared everything. Outside the window the sale is real but earns nothing, and it is shown that way instead of quietly dropped.
The mistake people make
Demanding the longest window. A long window mostly credits clicks that did not cause the sale, and advertisers pay for it by lowering the rate. A fair window at a fair rate beats ninety days at half the commission.
