Atrybucja
Proste słowa, dlaczego to ważne i realny przykład z pracy reklamowej.
In one sentence
Attribution means deciding which advert deserves credit for a sale. Without it two channels both claim the same sale and you spend twice.
A real example
If somebody clicked a newsletter advert and then searched for you, attribution decides which one gets the credit.
How Attribution works on Advoratise
When a sale arrives, we decide which clicks earned it and write the answer down for good: the model used, the half-life, the look-back window, the split, and the version of the rules that produced it. Later rule changes do not rewrite an old credit. If you open a sale from six months ago, you see the recipe it was actually paid under.
The mistake people make
Adding up credits from several platforms. Each one claims the sale in full, so the total is larger than the number of sales that happened. Pick one system as the one that decides, and treat the others as background.
What to look at next
The rule that decides which advert gets the credit is written down there, with the version number the credit was stamped with.
Pytania, które zadają ludzie
- Which model does Advoratise use?
- A time-decaying split across the clicks inside the look-back window, so a click an hour before the sale weighs more than one from three weeks earlier. The exact settings are stamped onto every credit.
