Why travel advertising works

People plan weeks ahead. High basket sizes. Pictures do the work.

A destination feature. A newsletter slot in a travel letter. A creator trip placement. Every listing says which of these it is, so you know what you are buying before you spend anything.

What it costs, and how the price is worked out

Priced per placement, and higher in the planning season for that destination than out of it. On Advoratise the price you see is the price you pay, in euros, with tax shown separately. Our share is shown on the booking before anybody agrees to it, so nothing is taken out later.

How far ahead to book

Four to eight weeks, and booking is seasonal: people plan trips months before they travel. Nothing is charged until the owner accepts, so asking early costs you nothing and protects the date you want.

Buying it: what happens step by step

Open the marketplace, filter for travel advertising, and read the listings. Each one shows the owner, the price, the reach the owner claims, and whether the web address has been checked. Pick one, send your advert, and agree the date. Your money sits in a hold from the moment you agree, for the waiting time you choose, between fourteen and thirty days. If the advert was not delivered as agreed, you can ask for your money back within sixty days.

Selling it: what happens step by step

List your space in a few minutes. Describe it, set your price, and prove the web address is yours. Once the check passes, buyers can book it, and you approve every advert before it appears, so nothing you dislike ever runs. When the waiting time ends and no dispute is open, the money is released to you automatically.

Earning a commission instead of a fee

Some owners prefer to be paid per sale rather than per placement. A commission is counted only when the shop confirms the sale, when it happened inside the agreed window, and when the same sale has not been counted twice. Refunded sales are taken back, and money is released once the refund window has closed.

What we check before anything runs

We check the web address really belongs to the owner. We screen every advert against the safety rules the owner picked. We count a click once, from a real person, and throw away traffic that behaves like a robot. Every automatic decision is written down, so you can ask why it was made and get a straight answer.

Honest limits

Travel advertising is not right for everybody. Four to eight weeks, and booking is seasonal: people plan trips months before they travel. If you need millions of views tomorrow, a direct marketplace is slower than an automatic network, because a person on the other side has to say yes. What you gain is knowing exactly where your advert appears, and paying a price you agreed instead of a price an invisible auction picked.
